This policy explains what personal information Ydel collects, why we collect it, how we use it and what rights you have over it. It applies to this website and to the staffing and IT services we provide.
Information we collect
- Information you send us directly, such as your name, email address, telephone number, curriculum vitae and any details you include when you contact us or apply for a role
- Information provided by client organisations in the course of a service engagement
- Technical information collected automatically when you visit this site, such as IP address, browser type and pages visited
Why we use it
- To respond to enquiries and provide the services you have asked for
- To assess candidates against roles and to present candidates to client organisations, with the candidate's knowledge
- To administer contracts, invoicing and record keeping
- To meet legal, tax and regulatory obligations
- To maintain the security and proper operation of our systems
Sharing
We share candidate information with client organisations only for the purpose of a specific role and, where required, with your consent. We may share information with service providers who process it on our behalf under contract, and with authorities where we are legally required to do so. We do not sell personal information.
Retention
We keep personal information for as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected for, and for as long as required by law afterwards. Candidate records are held so that we can contact you about suitable future roles; you may ask us to delete them at any time.
Your rights
Depending on where you are located, you may have the right to ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, to withdraw consent, and to complain to a supervisory authority. To exercise any of these rights, write to ydel@ydel.in.
International transfers
Ydel operates in India and the United States, and information may be transferred between these locations in the course of providing our services. Where such transfers occur we take steps to ensure the information remains protected to the standard described in this policy.
