Ydel wants this website to be usable by as many people as possible, including those who rely on assistive technology such as screen readers, keyboard navigation or screen magnification.

What we are working towards

We are working towards conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.1 at level AA. This is a target, not a claim of completion: parts of this site were built some years ago and do not yet meet it.

Known limitations

• Some images do not yet carry descriptive alternative text
• Colour contrast on parts of the site does not meet the level AA threshold
• Some navigation menus are easier to operate with a mouse than with a keyboard alone
• Older pages have heading structures that do not follow a strict order
